I just wanted to give a quick explanation of my tag line “I’m a dreamer. It’s not that I can’t see reality, I just choose to strive for something more.”
Basically it says I can see the world for what it is, but I choose to believe in people being a little better. I know that most people are immoral, selfish people. Despite that, though, I can see the good in people. I know it’s hard to do the right thing. I know most people choose not to do the right thing simply because it’s hard. But, at the same time, I like to believe that there is good in everyone and that given a little push everyone is capable of good deeds. Is that true for everyone? No, probably not. Do I care? No. Will I strive to help them become better people even in the absence of all rational logic that says maybe they can do a good deed? Yep. Am I kind of irrational? Definitely.
I just like to believe the world is a good place. And that everyone is capable of achieving great things and doing great deeds as long as someone is there to give them a little push. And that’s who I am, and that’s what I do. I strive to help people achieve their dreams – help them do a little more. I strive to help them do things that aren’t of this world, to achieve things they never thought possible. It’s a little naive to believe in people like that, but that’s who I am. I like believing in people.
