Dialogue, Story Line and Maps

Ok so this update is gonna be pretty short. Basically I got the day off yesterday (which is why I posted that other update yesterday), and so I spent a big portion of yesterday and the time I had today working on designing the general layout of the maps and organizing the story a little bit more. I have the general layout for the introductory level (where Cez’s girlfriend gets captured) and the first map drawn out. Cez meets Lela immediately as he enters the new world through the portal the shadow warriors used to kidnap Cez’s girlfriend and is taken to Lela’s village. He asks to be allowed to pass through the gates at the cave entrance, but the village leaders refuse to let him because they believe he will be sent to his death. To convince them otherwise, he seeks out three bosses hidden in the cave and defeats them, earning their trust and allowing him to move to the following level. This is pretty rough right now, but I said this wasn’t going to be super long. I really want to flesh out the characters more and really give them identities because I feel like that is a core part of what gets people into games (strong characters). At least that’s true for me.

Anyway, that’s what I’ll be working on for the foreseeable future. I just wanted to give a more definite update about the content I’m constructing for now.
