Programming Battles

Well I’ve sort of reached the point where I feel comfortable starting to program everything. I know there is no way any of the stuff I’ve done is perfect, but once I get at least a 1.0 version up and running I should be able to begin play testing and iterating on the game play. Right now I’m working on setting up general character movement and the battle system. Once I have the battle system up and running I think I’ll try to implement the experience system and all that jazz so the player can actually run around the “map” (which isn’t really a map, more just a grid background) fighting people. Hopefully this allows me to work on refining a few things, as a starting point. I should have a longer update in a few days, I think, so we’ll see. Gonna keep fiddling with the battle system for now though.
